But when they arrive at our nation’s southern border, our country’s ports of entry are closed to them — forcing unaccompanied children to return to the dangers they fled or perilous conditions to enter the United States.
As the potential end of the harmful Title 42 border policy draws near, it is imperative that the Biden Administration restore these children’s access to protection at ports of entry while refraining from implementing restrictive new measures in Title 42’s place.
