On this 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights,” please reaffirm the rights of all children to survival, protection, and education.
Human rights are children’s rights. And they are enshrined in this global document. Yet, unaccompanied children are increasingly forced to flee their homes because of war, natural disasters, and violence that their countries either cannot or will not shield them from. With rising numbers of children migrating in search of safety, we face an even greater imperative to safeguard the rights and well-being of every one of these children.
If you believe that every child has the right to seek safety and protection, to express themselves, to have access to education, and to be healthy, please add your name today.
